  12. The inside back cover of the 1993 January MacTech has an ad from
  13. Quasar Knowledge Systems for SmalltalkAgents.  I called for info and
  14. received a glossy brochure.  It's basically a Smalltalk development
  15. system tailored to the Mac.  In general it looks quite intriguing,
  16. although the $200 runtime killed any hopes I had of using it for any
  17. projects.  I certainly won't buy a development environment that won't
  18. let me give away applications I develop.  Nevertheless, I'm interested
  19. in any data from MacWorld, where QKS supposedly had a demo in Apple's
  20. Tools Exhibit, whatever that was.  Surely *somebody* out there saw it
  21. in action.
