- Summary: Sory about this common FAQ but I can't seem to find it in CSMP
- Keywords: faq mouse in window regions etc help
-
- I know this is a FAQ, seems I have seen it somewhere, but I have been
- browsing through every volume of CSMP (using Easy View nice program for
- looking a volumes of stuff). Okay back to the question.
-
- I have this simple little hack that I am working on that has three
- rectangles (or maybe I should make them regions? ...hmmm.) that correspond
- to pseudo edit text fields ( I plan to copybits changed values into them
- as the user types on the keyboard, like a calculator). So I have a few
- definitions of cursor types. I want to automatically switch the cursor to
- a certain type as it passes over any of these three fields, and change it
- back if it passes over anything else.
-
- I obviously need to be checking where the mouse is at any one time and act
- appropriately. Does anyone have an example of how to do this gracefully.
- I would appreciate it.
-
- thanks, and sorry about it begin an FAQ
