  14. It appears that the "Enhanced Sound Manager" (Sys 6.0.7 and later) supports
  15. only an equal-tempered scale when using the waveTable synthesizer.
  16. Is it still possible to specify exact frequencies, as described in
  17. IM vol5 ?

  19. Also, I'd welcome ideas on how to cause the amplitude of a note to decay,
  20. since the Sound Manager's "tickleCmd" seems to have disappeared also.
