  25.    the commercial versions. Even better, they're free.  How, then, can
  26.    a commercial firm compete against well-produced, good quality,
  27.    el-cheapo software? They can't...for long. The implications are,
  28.    well, interesting.

  30. Actually, it's worse than that.  They're writing the GNU Herd, a CopyLeft-ed
  31. variation of UNIX. :-)
