- Someone I know has a newly written program that was authored for
- Windows in Visual Basic. They have now decided they would like
- to port it to the Macintosh, and are considering QuickBasic as
- the language to use on the Macintosh. Has anyone done porting
- between these two environments and care to comment generally on
- their experience. The program itself is oriented towards graphics
- (there is no keyboard interaction except to enter data) so my thinking
- is that aside from having to shift to the toolbox (minor :-) there
- may be no major work. ?? (I.E. Visual basic and QuickBasic, both being
- Microsoft products share a fairly large common subset of features ??

- Please reply by email, I'll summarize on request. (I can never keep
- up with this group, though I do try).
