- Dear netters:
- I'm now writing a Chinese-English dictionary program (near completion).
- I wish my dictionary can speak the English words loudly through the Mac
- speaker. Firstly I think the old Macintalk may help me, but after reading
- the warning of the technical notes from Apple, I gave up this idea.
- Is there any speech-synthesis program (module) I can get (buy or license)
- to include its functionality into my program? To be more specific, is there
- a program that can accept input of English words (e.g. book) and spell the
- word through Mac speaker? My program can also supply phonetic (e.g. /buk/)
- if needed.
-
- Thank you first for any possible help information.
