- Alright folks. This one has been bugging me and I'm looking for
- inspiration from the (other) wizards on the net.
-
- Here's the deal.
-
- I'm working on the large program that has this interesting problem.
- At times it is doing something that causes the Finder to generate
- error messages saying that it can't load the WDEF when windows are
- opened and closed (system error #87). This happens when the program
- has been switched to the background and I'm using the Finder in the
- foreground. When I stop the program, the problem goes away.
-
- So, the question is, what sort of things will cause this behavior?
- The system heap and Finder heap both have enough free memory, and
- there are plenty of free FCB's. Apple's documentation on error codes
- is rather, well, shall we say "sparse"?
-
- Clues/hints/suggestions cheerfully accepted, email or news. Thanks in
- advance.
-
- Later ...
