  12. Alright folks.  This one has been bugging me and I'm looking for
  13. inspiration from the (other) wizards on the net.

  15. Here's the deal.

  17. I'm working on the large program that has this interesting problem.
  18. At times it is doing something that causes the Finder to generate
  19. error messages saying that it can't load the WDEF when windows are
  20. opened and closed (system error #87).  This happens when the program
  21. has been switched to the background and I'm using the Finder in the
  22. foreground.  When I stop the program, the problem goes away.
  23.  
  24. So, the question is, what sort of things will cause this behavior?
  25. The system heap and Finder heap both have enough free memory, and
  26. there are plenty of free FCB's.  Apple's documentation on error codes
  27. is rather, well, shall we say "sparse"?
