- We have an application which runs fine on all Macs except the SE30 and the
- IIcx. On these machines, the application generates either a bus fault or
- an illegal instruction fault right after it starts.

- In one case, we took the boot disk off a IIcx and dropped it in a IIci.
- Same System version, same INITs, same everything. The application worked
- on the IIci and crashed on the IIcx.

- Unfortunately I have no idea why it happens because most of the
- initialization code is in a 3rd-party library for which we don't have
- source and the company which produced it has departed this vale of tears.
- What I'd like to know is if there's anything special about these two
- machines that may cause trouble. The application doesn't use color, so it
- isn't Color Quickdraw.
