- My modem port is dead, and programs can't open the port.
- Is there any way to make the SCC do a self test ?
- Also, if I read from the ports register on the SCC, how do I decode
- the byte ? Which bits means what ?

- I have an SE/30. I consider changing the 26LS30 myself if it is that one
- that is bad. If it is the SCC I will have to seek professional help.
