  12. After an application receives an 'odoc' Apple Event to open a document
  13. should it arrange it so the next Standard File [Open] Dialog that is
  14. brought up by the user is the same directory that the 'odoc' document
  15. came from?

  17. It is not difficult to do this as a programmer, but I have noticed
  18. most Mac applications don't (ResEdit, for instance). Personally I
  19. would _like_ them to change the GetFile directory, but what does Apple
  20. have to say on the matter (if anything)? What are applications
  21. supposed to do?
