  13. My assessment of CW's class library would be "shallow with a germ of
  14. greatness."  That is, architecturally it is innovative and very well conceived,
  15. but it remains somewhat feature-poor.  I would much rather have this than the
  16. other way around since it provides a very solid foundation on which to build.

  18. An example: "buttonness", if I may coin the term, is an abstract concept
  19. unrelated to the visualization of the "button."  As a result, the same button
  20. class can be used for Control Manager buttons, tool palette buttons, and menu
  21. items, each of which mixes in a different rendering class to go with the
  22. abstract button behavior.  Throughout the architecture is similarly
  23. well-factored.
