- My assessment of CW's class library would be "shallow with a germ of
- greatness." That is, architecturally it is innovative and very well conceived,
- but it remains somewhat feature-poor. I would much rather have this than the
- other way around since it provides a very solid foundation on which to build.

- An example: "buttonness", if I may coin the term, is an abstract concept
- unrelated to the visualization of the "button." As a result, the same button
- class can be used for Control Manager buttons, tool palette buttons, and menu
- items, each of which mixes in a different rendering class to go with the
- abstract button behavior. Throughout the architecture is similarly
- well-factored.
