- Let's say you have 5 MB of RAM, and set the virtual memory to 10 MB. This will
- make the memory look like 10 MB, and you will lose 10 MB of your hard disk
- space. The reason for keeping data both in RAM and on the virtual memory
- file on disk is that it makes it much more efficient.
