  22. I noticed the very same thing happening on my machine for a long time 
  23. before I figured out that the temporary changes produced in my menubar by 
  24. software loading were shoving everything over and causing SuperClock's 
  25. numerals to be blocked out...all except the M in AM or PM. 
  26. Could this be the cause of your phenomenon?
