- Hi there. Been using a Mac at work for the past few years. Started
- with a Plus, then a II, then si, now ci. I never seriously considered
- getting one for myself for at home because of Apple's traditionally
- high prices. Now that the prices have come down though...
-
- I've been thinking about getting an LC-II or and si for myself. I can
- get an si for only an extra $200 or so over the LC-II, so the decision
- is a tough on. Add to that the rumor/news of a coming LC-III and it
- makes it even harder. So I'm seeking advice/recommendations on why
- you think I should buy one model over the other, as well as any
- late-breaking info on features/price/release date of an LC-III.
-
- While I'm at it, a monitor question. I've only ever used Apple's
- 13 inch hi-res monitor; never worked with the 12-incher. Since I don't
- plan to spend hours at a time in front of the machine at home, I can
- live with somewhat lower resolution - but just how good/bad is the
- picture of the 12 inch compared to the 13 inch? And I've heard
- about software that won't work with the smaller 12-inch screen...
- just how *much* software won't work with it? (titles?)
-
- Much thanks for any insight you can give...
