  14. I'm a newcomer to Macs, and even newer to System 7, so I need some help
  15. with the following:

  17. We have SEs weith 4 Mb memory, and I'd like to get the "system Software"
  18. memory as low as possible to have room for other applications --
  19. and, I hope, to spped things up a bit.

  21. So . . . What does into the system software (as e.g., fonts do) and where
  22. might I economize to gain some memory? (Note, I don't want to install the
  23. minimal installation.)
