- I'm trying to use MacX 1.2 to display Word Perfect running on a Sun (SunOS
- 4.1.3), but am having trouble compiling the WP fonts. I've ftp'd the
- WP fonts (*.bdf) from the Sun to my Mac Quadra 950, but when I try to
- compile them in MacX, the finder doesn't recognize the font files, i.e.,
- they don't show up under "Compile BDF File". I tried using ResEdit 2.1
- to assign the proper file type & creator (i.e., made them look like the
- font files that came with MacX), but MacX still will not recognize them.
- As a matter of fact, after using ResEdit, the files appear to the finder
- as MacX documents, but still cannot be compiled. Any help appreciated,
- e-mail replies preferred. Thanks.
-
- BTW, I'm running System 7.1.
