- Hi all,
-
- A friend works in desktop publishing and has 11 billion fonts
- installed, and would like to manage his font menu better. I proposed
- opening and closing suitcases when needed, but he'd like a better
- solution. Is there any utility, free/shareware/commercial or otherwise,
- which will let you group fonts so they appear hierarchially in the font
- menu? Like you could define these fonts as decorative, these fonts
- as dingbats, etc. and your font menu would be like 8 hierarchial choices,
- and you pick the actual font from the submenu. Compatible with Adobe
- Type Reunion, of course :)
-
- Alternatively, does anyone have any recomendations for this fellow?
- Originally he asked for his font menu to show up in as many collumns
- across the screen as needed, so he could see all fonts in a single glance.
- The Now Utilities can assign different colors to different fonts, and
- reorder them, but that wasn't interesting to him. Any other options?
-
- Email please, and I'll summarize if there's interest.
- Nate.
