- I'm assuming this IS a Apple-supplied HD. If so, then once you have formatted,
- partitioned, etc. it, then the MacOS should see it no matter what, even
- the Installer. (I know I've had to wipe my HD a couple of times and
- reinstall everything. NOT fun. :( )

- I suggest going back, and redoing the format & partition. Also be sure you
- have the driver installed on the drive, since it's absence could be your
- problem.
