- I have read a bit about this program and the others in the series (SoftAT,
- AccessPC, Universal(?)) but I would like to hear from people who have
- actual experience with these product as to how well they work. I have
- asked David Drum (I hope I got that right) to forward what he receives
- to me, so general responses need not be repeated. However, I would like
- to find out if anyone has worked with this specific situation.
-
- My father just bought an LC II, and he uses Word Perfect at work. I
- suggested that he could get WordPerfect for the Mac and read and write
- files on a PC disk (is this correct? - is anything extra needed?). I
- think he is also interested in the possibility of getting SoftPC (AT?)
- and bringing a copy of WP home to use on the Mac. How well do either of
- these solutions work? Any other suggestions?
-
- Also, which of the MSDOS compatibility product would you recommend? What
- about Apple's PC Exchange, or whatever it's called? If we're going to
- have to deal with MessyDOS, I'd like to at least do it well. BTW, I am
- not a regular reader of this newsgroup, so please respond via email.
-
- Thanks in advance.
