  29. Are you sure the computer's not fried? Have you tried connecting the 
  30. modem to the printer port instead of the modem port? What happens when 
  31. you power up the modem without it connected to the computer at all? Does 
  32. it then show an LED? Does it get WARM? Very warm? Are you sure you're not 
  33. plugging it into the ADB port? (  <---Heh heh, just kidding :-)

  35. What kind of Mac are you plugging it into, anyway? Did your friend get it 
  36. new or used? Did your friend get the name of the friend who gave it to 
  37. him/her?
