  28. I have only been using the "Demo" version available by ftp from sumex-aim,
  29. but I find it VERY good for compiling functions, especially ones that do
  30. any sort of mathematical manipulation.  For these, the speed-up is VERY
  31. noticeable (Ireduced run-time on one series of calculations from ~45 seconds
  32. to 4.5 seconds.  For accessing fields, etc., it is not that much faster,
  33. in my experience.  I would love to try the full version, but don't have
  34. the $$ for it yet.
