  25. I don't know about the grouping aspect; I haven't worked with
  26. that yet.  HOwever, if you have the PowerTools stack that comes
  27. with the HyperCard Developers Kit (i.e. the full "bought"
  28. version) you can use the F14 key.  The action is to place the
  29. cursor within the field that you wish to lock/unlock, then hit
  30. the F14 key.  The macro toggles the lock/unlock property.

  32. Obviously, you'll need an extended keyboard, so this is mostly
  33. for doing developing work. (This works if you go to the menu
  34. card and select the "function and control keys" menu item, and
  35. then click the "install in stack" button.)
