- Whoops! No programming allowed, man. Claris finally got the
- "crippleware" concept right. Applications called "HyperCard Player"
- really don't allow any scripting -- they don't have any script
- editor built in. It's still HyperCard 2.1 in every other respect,
- though.

- Here's something to try: Get a simple word processor (TeachText will
- do fine) and type in a script. Copy and paste it into a field --
- call it cd fld "script." Into the message box, type "set the script of
- this card to cd fld 'script.'" It ought to work -- setting the script
- of various objects ought to be allowed under script control,
- and therefor the Player ought to allow it to maintain compatibility.
- You can try typing "Set the userlevel to 5" into the message box first.
