  19. My Duo 210 also sufferred HD crashes in its factory configured state. It had 
  20. to be sent *twice* to Apple repair before they finally found an HD that 
  21. worked. On the first return from Apple repair, the Duo lasted all of ten 
  22. minutes before the newly replaced HD developed extreme soft I/O errors that 
  23. eventually shifted to permanent errors.

  25. It seems to me that the HDs are voltage sensitve, the problems on my Duo were 
  26. worst when it was plugged in.

  28. Anyway, I'm on my third 80Mb HD, and it seems to be OK now.
