- I used to have a PB140 and I now have a PB160. The PB160 is noticeably
- faster than the 140 even when I run it in 16Mhz mode. I guess they improved
- the architecture somehow.
-
- Greater performance can also mean that the machine has better battery life
- and a higher memory capacity. It can mean that you can view graphics in 16
- shades of gray. Performance depends on your needs. It's not simply a question
- of processor speed.
-
- >Is it because the PB 160 is a 32-bit machine whereas the PB 145 is 16-bit?
-
- Both are 32-bit.
