- Hello,
- We are looking to moving from our current backup system (Two DAT drives
- each using two 60M tapes per backup session) to a single drive, single
- tape system. Are Compression DAT's all that they are cracked up to be?
- Is 5GB a realistic archive size, or is it just the best that is theore-
- tically possible? How much can you get on a 60M tape? (We have a lot of
- those lying around:)
-
- Has anybody had any experience with PLI or Micronet, either in general
- or specifically with Compression DATs. If not, who is your preffered
- manufacturer for Compression DAT.
-
- Please reply by e-mail,
- Thanks in advance.
