- Hi,
-
- I noticed that it would be nice to have a joystick for my Mac Plus.
- The easiest way is to buy it - but is it very difficult to build it?
-
- Because my Plus doesn't have the ADB I should use the mouse port. I read
- in IM about mouse systems and noticed that it wouldn't be very difficult
- to build a circuit that simulates a normal mouse. And I could get the
- mechanics from a cheap Atari-type joystick (I could build a box that is
- connected to my Mac and to the joystick).
-
- So, what do you think? Does it make any sense? And how does the output
- signals of a joystick differ from those of a mouse (ie. how are the
- "joystick routines" written in commercial games)?
