  16. The 68040 chip has a built-in math coprocessor, but there's also a
  17. 68LC040 that doesn't have an on-board math coprocessor and is
  18. therefore simpler, smaller, and cheaper.  I've heard that a 68LC040 at
  19. 25MHz is still 70% faster than a 68030 at 33MHz.
