- The 68040 chip has a built-in math coprocessor, but there's also a
- 68LC040 that doesn't have an on-board math coprocessor and is
- therefore simpler, smaller, and cheaper. I've heard that a 68LC040 at
- 25MHz is still 70% faster than a 68030 at 33MHz.
