- A Mac II (or IIx or IIcx or SE/30) cannot run in 32 bit mode
- on its own, as it does not have 32 bit clean ROMs. To run 32 bit mode
- you need the utility MODE32, available free from ftp.apple.com, which
- provides a software solution to the problem. (Unfortunately, this is not
- fully compatible with system 7.1, but things should be fine if you're
- running 7.0.1)
