- At the MacWorld Expo in SF yesterday, I stopped by Apple's Duo kiosk to see
- what was up with the MiniDock and Express modem.
-
- I couldn't recall whether the Express modem was to be 9600 or 14.4k baud,
- so I asked. I'm pretty sure the Apple representative said 19,200 baud! Did
- I mishear, did he misspeak, or is this an especially pleasant surprise
- from Apple? (Send/receive fax, however, was described as just 9600 baud)
-
- Also, on the minidocks they had there, in addition to the modem and
- printer serial ports, the internal-modem out jack was a mini-8
- connector. Shouldn't it be an RJ-11? Is some additional adapter which
- looks like a PhoneNet StarConnector necessary?
