- I have Micropolis 1375 scsi disk drive (~200Mb) that I've removed from
- an non-mac system. I have a power supply, box and cables. I'd like
- to set this up as an external drive to my Mac+ (running 7.0 tunedup).
- (Sometime this year I expect to upgrade the Mac+ to a IIsi or IIci.)
-
- My question specifically is what do I need to do to get the drive formatted
- for the Mac, and a driver installed for this disk drive? The more general
- question is how do I do this for an arbitrary scsi disk drive? It seems
- that if I buy a new drive *for* a Mac, it comes formatted or with the
- appropriate software.
-
- I've read through the FAQ's that I could find. Scoured sumex-aim for
- drivers, tips, hints, etc. Please point me in the direction of any
- information on the subject, be it on the internet or a book, etc.
- If there are several options, I'd be interested in recommendations.
-
- Thanks!
