  13. Greetings and Salutations all.  Just me again.

  15. CompUSA is now telling me they "might" see the Mac IIvx's w/ CD-ROM
  16. sometime in February.  Yes, that's right, February.  They say that Apple is
  17. having trouble with the CD-ROM (something about it being a 2-speed device).

  19. For those of you that didn't follow this thread from the beginning. . .I
  20. ordered/pre-paid for a Mac IIvx 5/80 w/ CD, 12-meg of memory, monitor and
  21. extended keyboard II (just under $3700) on Dec. 3rd.  I was told they'd be
  22. in in a week, then told "by Christmas" for sure (fer sure?), then told
  23. "early Jan.", and now told "maybe in Feb.  Seeing as how its been 5-weeks
  24. now and only overdue for 4-weeks, I'm beginning to wonder what the story
  25. really is.  Does anyone know or know who might know.  Will these systems
  26. ever appear?  Oh, CompUSA did inventory at end of Dec. and shipped monitor,
  27. memory, and keyboard to me Dec. 30th.  However, they sent it to the wrong
  28. place and I just found it in a warehouse.
