  19. Yes, the NeXT CD-ROM drive works fine with my MAC.

  21. All that is needed are Macintosh CD-ROM drivers for the Sony CD Mechanism.

  23. I am using Trantors's MAC drivers.
  24. I ordered them from a company called Phethean at 1-800-362-3766.

  26. Ask for generic mac drivers for SONY cd mechanism.  The cost was about $60 when  
  27. I bought them a couple of months ago.

  29. You also get a very nice audio cd player DA as well.

  31. I even tried out the Kodak PhotoCD Sampler and Mac Software using the NeXT  
  32. CD-ROM drive on my Mac and everything works great (single session PhotoCDs of  
  33. course).
