  12. Thanks to all who replied to my hard drive purchase question. As a corollary
  13. to it, I was wondering if the old (1990) IIcx 40MB Sony drives, of whch mine
  14. is one, are still exchangeable under the recall replacement program Apple
  15. had running. My drive fits into the category and is in the serial number
  16. range.

  18. I didn't exchange it before because Apple wanted me to send them my drive
  19. and wait for them to send me a new one, during which time I would have no
  20. drive at all.
