- Thanks to all who replied to my hard drive purchase question. As a corollary
- to it, I was wondering if the old (1990) IIcx 40MB Sony drives, of whch mine
- is one, are still exchangeable under the recall replacement program Apple
- had running. My drive fits into the category and is in the serial number
- range.
-
- I didn't exchange it before because Apple wanted me to send them my drive
- and wait for them to send me a new one, during which time I would have no
- drive at all.
