- I have an Epson FX86 printer that has a serial interface installed (#8143).
- I bought a standard MAC->Modem cable to hook my PB100 to my Epson printer.
- I installed the Epson 9pin system extension (part of Chuck's printer
- drivedrs), but my Mac won't print. Even when I run a terminal emulation
- program through the printer port, the characters that I type do not
- reach the Epson printer. Does anyone know of the problem? I think it
- might have something to do with the cable, since the printer and Mac
- don't seem to be talking to each other. When I do try printing, the Mac
- thinks everything worked fine, but nothing comes out. I've tried setting
- it up at both 2400 and 9600 baud.
-
- Thanks.
