- You need to get your monitor to say 'hey, I'm a 12 inch' so that your LC
- will send a 12 inch picture to it. If you have a good monitor, it will handle
- the change in picture without much work. This is done via an adaptor which
- has the different monitor sense pins grounded.

- Frankly, its hassle, and not the way to go. You can't handle this sort of
- thing in software for nothing, adaptors are a pain. Buy 512K VRAM. It's
- cheap, and the investment (640x480 with 256 colours) will let you run
- some games that need 640x480x256, eg Solarian II.
