- Given that I can't recall what the option looks like or where it's installed,
- here's what I would do:

- 1. attach the printer using a standard Imagewriter cable to the printer
- port on a Mac.

- 2. install both the Imagewriter and Appletalk Imagewriter drivers on the
- Mac.

- 3. open the Chooser and see where the printer shows up. [installing the
- option disables direct-connect mode]

- I think the board goes under the ribbon carriage in the front of the printer,
- but I haven't installed one for about 6 years.
