  13. I'm ready to buy a printer to hook up to my IIci at home and I'm pretty sure
  14. I want a Deskwriter of some sort, but I've got a few questions.
  15.  
  16. 1) We'll mainly be doing B&W output but color would be nice for those times
  17.    when my daughter draws something spectacular that we want to send off
  18.    to the grandparents :-)  Is it silly to buy one of the color models
  19.    if we're hardly ever going to use the color?
  20.  
  21. 2) In pricing the printers, I've found 500Cs in the $500 range and 550Cs
  22.    in the $700 range.  Is the 550C *really* $200 better?
  23.  
  24. 3) Can I hook a Deskwriter up to a DOS machine?  According to the salesdweeb
  25.    I talked to, this can't be done but being a software kinda guy, I'm
  26.    inclined to think that it's a matter of a cable change.
