- The IIx at work uses Lithium cells with pressure contacts. (like a regular battery and is replaceable by just unsnapping the tip of the battery holder
- and popping out the old battery and slipping in the new one.)
-
- I used Tadiran #TL-5902/S which is a High Capacity Lithium Inorganic Cell.
- Size is 1/2 AA @
- 1200 mAh and was less than $1.00 more than the standard cell.
- (About $6.73 each for the High Capacity)
-
- You can call Lou Adams, Regional Manager @ Tadiran Batteries (817) 430-1242
- for additional info and part numbers if you do have a solder tab battery.
-
- Just for your info, I purchased mine from Newark Electronics, they have
- over 200 branches across the country. If you cannot find their number
- e-mail me with your city and state and the closest large city and
- I'll e-mail you the address and number.
