  34. Something doesn't sound right. I put a Daystar 50Mhz in my IIci.
  35. The book supplied with the card is clear on just how to do
  36. this on a number of Macs.  Each one having their own chapter.
  37. It is true that you need the adapter for the others except
  38. the IIci, but no mention was made of sending it in to the
  39. dealers.

  41. By the way, there was an upgrade offer from Daystar to convert
  42. the 68030 version to their new 68040 version which should
  43. be available after Jan. 1, 1993. That offer only applies if
  44. you purchased their board between August and November 1, 1992.
  45. You may want to wait and see what their new accelerator will
  46. cost before purchasing the 68030 version.  The dates on the  
  47. upgrade offer came straight from a rep at Daystar. Besure and
  48. talk to them if someone else is giving you a different story.
