  15. I've had a chance to perform some database mapping in the past and
  16. have attempted to use both GeoQuery and Atlas Pro.  For street-level
  17. mapping I would go with Atlas Pro.  At the time I was doing this
  18. (about a year ago) GeoQuery did not support any street-level maps, it
  19. could only plot people by their zip code.

  21. If you are attempting get a national picture of your data by plotting
  22. the address across many states then the zipcode-based plots in GeoQuery
  23. would work fine.  However, if you are looking to plot addresses within
  24. a particular county with resolution down to the street level you will
  25. have to use a more ddetailed product like Atlas Pro.

  27. The street-level maps are an extra item that you would have to order
  28. through the company making the software.  These maps are produced on a
  29. county level and typically cost around $500.  There is usually a choice
  30. of multiple maps a given county, each with better clarity than the next.
  31. Street-Level ETAK maps are produced by the government and are pretty
  32. good but may have some streets in new developments missing and the 
  33. graphical clarity is a little rough.  Many companies take these from
  34. the govt and then clear them up and add additional street detail. Of
  35. course, the price rises as you get better, more accurate maps.
