- I got a pretty good deal on a QuickComm Spirit II 14.4 fax modem,
- which I am using with no problems as a data modem with my Mac. The
- only problem I am having is trying to get it to work properly as a
- faxmodem. I've purchased FAXstf, which is billed as a "hardware
- independant library of power fax software for the macintosh."
-
- However, there is no provision for the QuickComm Spirit II in the
- installer. The folks @ FAXstf say that if only I could tell them the
- Chipset & ROM, perhaps I could install it ok. The folks @ QuickComm
- repeatedly failed to answer my direct question about the Chipset &
- ROM. Now what am I to do? Is there anyone out there who knows anything
- about the Chipset & ROM?
-
- Is there another solution? Please respond via email, as I don't
- usually post or read this group...
-
- Thanks.
