- Is it possible to script and pipe data thru application
- software on a Macintosh similar to unix?
-
- For example, I have 5 24-bit PICT images stored on my
- hard drive. I want to print black & white versions of
- these images on my laser printer. And I'm using Adobe
- PhotoShop to print the PICT images.
-
- I would rather not have to manually open each file,
- convert to greyscale, change the gamma setting from 1
- to 2 and then print each.
-
- I would much rather setup an automatic routine ( a
- script ) which will read each file, convert to greyscale,
- change the gamma and then print each image.
-
- It would be ideal if this could be done in the back
- ground, but I'll settle for the foreground.
