  10. Is it possible to script and pipe data thru application
  11. software on a Macintosh similar to unix?

  13. For example, I have 5 24-bit PICT images stored on my
  14. hard drive.  I want to print black & white versions of
  15. these images on my laser printer.  And I'm using Adobe  
  16. PhotoShop to print the PICT images.

  18. I would rather not have to manually open each file,
  19. convert to greyscale, change the gamma setting from 1
  20. to 2 and then print each.

  22. I would much rather setup an automatic routine ( a
  23. script ) which will read each file, convert to greyscale,
  24. change the gamma and then print each image.

  26. It would be ideal if this could be done in the back
  27. ground, but I'll settle for the foreground.
