- There are 2 C++ compilers for the Mac. Apple's C++ and Zortech (now a Symantec
- company) C++. Both need MPW. ZC++ is available from Symantec. Apple's C++ is
- available thru APDA, as is MPW.
-
- Beyond that, the rumor mill has been churning out stories of a Think C++
- standalone ever since Symantec bought Zortech. I would be VERY reluctant about
- going out to get MPW and either C++ compiler now given that there is a pretty
- good chance of a standalone Think C++ RSN. Not that MPW is so awful, but If you
- already have Think C, or even if you don't, it will almost certainly be cheaper
- and less demanding of hardware to wait for the Think C++
