  15. I dislike ChipSoft (MacInTax) because their advertising is deceptive. I
  16. got a direct mail solicitation a month or two ago, that said something
  17. very similar to "You can have MacInTax for $39.95." It was a lie...there
  18. was a $4.50 s&h fee.

  20. A couple of months earlier, they solicited me with a similar offer for
  21. several different software packages, for "only $8 each." (It might have
  22. been $10). Anyway, same lie...s&h of $4.50 for _each_ package.

  24. I decided they are slimeballs.

  26. And, of course, anyone who sticks up for ChipSoft is a paid provocateur
  27. whose opinions should be ignored by all who read them  ;-)
