- Ok, so I've had my PowerBook for almost a year now, and I wish I could use
- it to run some of the simple C hacks I have on the Unix machines at work. A
- *basic C compiler would be nice. I'm not planning on developing commercial
- software, I just want something that's not too difficult to manage (I hear
- that the Mac is programmer hostile), doesn't take up megabytes of scarce
- disc space, and doesn't cost a lot. Can anybody out there recommend something
- along those lines? I saw a "Think C Lite" for $28 in a catalog which has an
- attractive price, (even if they did choose the annoying misspelling of "light").
- Is it too "lite" to use?
-
- If you can help, I'd appreciate some email at good@pixar.com. Thanks.
-
- * That's "basic" as in the opposite of "complex", not "BASIC" as in
- the opposite of "computer programming language".
