- I'm a molecular biology major with a Mac Classic still running system
- 6.07. Up until now, I've used ClarisWorks, as I frequently had to
- have charts with spreadsheet-type calculations in the same document
- as my text. I used it mostly for lab reports, with the occasional term
- paper thrown in, and it's performed adequately.
-
- However, I've got a 50-100 page thesis coming up next year, and I'm
- not sure if CW is up to it. I have access to my lab's copy of
- Cricket Graph, so the mathematical side is not a problem. However,
- which word processor would be my best bet? I've narrowed my choices
- down to WordPerfect, MS Word, and Nisus. It has to have indexing
- and table of contents, and have a way to import data tables and graphs.
- (Although a word processor that doesn't have this capability must
- surely be doing poorly in sales (-; ). So, e-mail or post any
- suggestions--I'll be listening!
