- Don't be too quick to default to JPEGView. The newest version of
- GIFConverter I pulled off of sumex-aim.stanford.edu handles JPEG files.
- If you're looking at using either one or the other, then I would pick
- GIFConverter. Might as well use the one that handles the most formats!

- As an aside, I must say I have had some difficulty opening JPEG files
- with GIFConverter. It seems to hang on me occasionally, causing me to
- have to reboot my machine. I don't know if this is a bug in the program,
- or corrupted JPG files.
