  22. Don't be too quick to default to JPEGView.  The newest version of
  23. GIFConverter I pulled off of sumex-aim.stanford.edu handles JPEG files. 
  24. If you're looking at using either one or the other, then I would pick
  25. GIFConverter.  Might as well use the one that handles the most formats!

  27. As an aside, I must say I have had some difficulty opening JPEG files
  28. with GIFConverter.  It seems to hang on me occasionally, causing me to
  29. have to reboot my machine.  I don't know if this is a bug in the program,
  30. or corrupted JPG files.
