- I have a rumoured fix (I haven't tried it, let me know if it works).
-
- I quote:
-
- "The YARG 0 resource contains a sequence of 2-byte numbers, each
- of which is the country code of a country in which AD refuses
- to run. Change the appropriate number and all is well."
-
- The country codes are the ones you'll find in the pop-up menus if you use
- ResEdit to edit the int1 and intl resources in the System file.
-
- Further rumours suggest that the YARG 0 resource is only checked when AD is
- installed and run for the first time, and is then deleted by the program.
-
- If you try this, please let me know how you get on.
-
- REMEMBER: I haven't confirmed this. You try it strictly at your own risk.
-
- Personally, I went the StuffIt route instead. If Salient are going to try
- and rip me off with inflated prices and crippled software, I'll take my money
- elsewhere.

- Macintosh System 7.1 -- just say no. If I'd wanted to pay $50 for OS upgrades
- I'd have bought an IBM.
