- I was wondering if there is any decent inventory packages for the
- macintosh at a reasonable price ( less than $500) or database programs
- that allow basic statistical analysis, such as determining cost of total
- inventory.

- I have a weekend business selling comicbooks that I want to buy a
- computer to keep records. I am trying to decide between getting an IBM
- or Mac. My preference is a mac because I use that at my full time job,
- but most inventory applications are written for the IBM. I know I can
- do what I want with Dbase IV and a lot of programming to manipulate the
- data. I am not familiar enough with Macintosh software to know if
- anything similar exists and whether it would be easier or more difficult
- to use that Dbase IV. Thanks for any help.
